Meet the Members of Our Pack
Mike and Amanda have three dogs.

ahab
Ahab was adopted from Stanislaus County Animal Shelter in January of 2020. He is our wonder boy. He lives for playing ball at the park and swimming. He loves long walks on the beach...just kidding, but he does love diving into the ocean for a ball. He is an amazing best friend that goes almost everywhere with Mike. When we brought him home from the shelter we could barely restrain him when he caught sight of a dog four blocks away, and he was scared of his own shadow. Now he is a mentor to other dogs and assists Mike work on meet and greets with dogs that are afraid.
Higgins
Higgins was adopted from Stanislaus County Animal Shelter after being hit by a car and abandoned. After seeing him online we felt an instant connection to him; once Mike met him it was insta-love. Despite everything he has been through, he is confident and eager to please. He keeps all the big boys on their toes.
waylon
Waylon is a Great Pyrenees. If you have never had a Great Pyr in your life; they will be your best dog and your most challenging, at least during the puppy years. Waylon is "good vibes". Or that is how Mike and Amanda describe him. He is fiercely loyal, incredibly smart and more than a smidge stubborn. He has required the most creative training tactics, but he is incredibly special and brings the most sunshine (and mud) to our lives.
