We believe that all dogs are special and should have the opportunity to live their best life with their human family and friends. This is why we take a unique, more personalized approach to dog training.
The first step in our process is a phone conversation to find out a little bit about you and your dog. We'll set up a time for an in-home consultation during this call.
During the consultation we will observe the dogs behavior in the home, and through discussion identify the challenges you face and the goals you have for you and your dog.
Once we conclude the consultation, we will create a customized training plan, for you and your furry friend. We will address how to achieve your goals in the training plan. Then we will set up a meeting to go over the plan and determine how you would like to proceed.

In-Home Consultation
If you are serious and committed to becoming an engaged owner; we are serious and committed to helping you reach that goal. We offer an in-home consultation for Modesto, and surrounding areas, with a $45.00 consultation fee. The consultation fee will be applied to the cost of your training program if you proceed with EDT.
Please note: if consultation visit is outside our service area, there may be a travel fee associated. If for health reasons, you are uncomfortable having an in-home visit please notify us during our initial conversation.
Private Training Sessions
Depending on the needs of you and your dog we offer private, customized one on one training plans where we can come to you or have a meeting location near you. This will be structured entirely toward meeting the goals and overcoming the challenges you have with your dog.
Puppy Socialization Class
Socialization can often be a misunderstood term when it comes to our furry family members. Learn how to properly socialize your puppy in a safe environment.
This class will also teach tips & tricks for being an advocate for your dog. In order to be the leader in your relationship with your dog, they must know they can trust you. We will show you how to gain & keep their trust.
Board & Train
We believe the relationship you and your dog share is only improved and strengthened during the training process. When possible, we promote the owner and their dog engaging in the training process together.
However, there are sometimes circumstances where your four-legged best friend staying and learning with us will be of greater benefit to the situation. We will go over this option during our follow-up to the consultation.
Board & Train stays will include a number of private lessons geared toward educating and empowering you, the owner, on how to replicate and sustain the success achieved during the board and train in your home.
Premier Puppy Package
EDT's Premier Puppy Package, like all our services, will be tailored to you and your dog. It will include private one on one lessons, basics in acclimating your dog to cooperative care, socialization classes and field trips from the time your puppy is 8 weeks old until it reaches 12 months.

It's never too soon to begin training with a puppy! We even offer a puppy preparedness session prior to the arrival of the puppy.
Dog Fulfillment Services
We offer dog fulfillment services on a limited basis for clients. This may include services from: dog walking, a park visit to get some sniffing in, playing ball or a good tug match.
